This sukiya pouch is crafted exclusively with newly woven Nishijin textile,
featuring the Suisaiei-bishi pattern, also known as
the Reflected Diamond Pattern in Water Blue.
Soft diamond forms gently dissolve into one another,
layered like delicate watercolor washes.

As the light shifts,
the surface moves quietly from white to pale blue,
while subtle gold threads leave a restrained, lingering calm.
The pattern does not assert itself,
remaining as a quiet presence at the hand.

Each piece is handmade in our Osaka workshop,
within an environment cultivated over 42 years,
while carefully imagining the time it will spend in daily use.

What Is a Sukiya Pouch

The sukiya pouch originated in the world of Japanese tea culture
as a small, portable textile pouch.
Its thin, lightweight form was shaped
to quietly organize only what is necessary.

Today, it serves as a flat pouch for everyday essentials
such as personal accessories, cards, and keys,
naturally blending into contemporary wardrobes.

As a Wearable Craft Object

The Reflected Diamond Pattern in Water Blue sukiya pouch
is not intended to become the focal point of an outfit.
Instead, it brings balance to the whole,
