This Sukiya pouch is crafted exclusively from newly woven Nishijin-ori,
designed for contemporary life.
It features the Saiei-Bishi (Reflected Diamond) pattern in black,
where layered diamond motifs emerge through subtle shifts in texture.

Rather than bold contrast,
the pattern reveals itself quietly—
its presence changing gently with the angle of light.
The deep black surface holds a calm depth,
leaving a soft, restrained impression in the hand.

Each piece is carefully handcrafted in our own Osaka workshop,
within an environment refined over 42 years.
Every pouch is made one by one,
with time and daily use thoughtfully imagined.

What Is a Sukiya Pouch

The Sukiya pouch originates from the world of Japanese tea ceremony,
created as a small, portable bag for carrying essential items.
Its thin, lightweight form—designed to fold neatly—
reflects a tradition of keeping only what is necessary, quietly in order.

Today, it serves as a flat pouch for modern essentials:
smartphone accessories, cards, lip balm, keys, or receipts.
Its understated form blends naturally with contemporary clothing,
offering function without excess.
