Nagara – Seigaiha Nishijin-ori Key Case

Quiet rhythm of waves, held in everyday use

This key case is made exclusively from newly woven Nishijin-ori,
created for contemporary living.
We do not use antique obi or recycled fabrics.

Production takes place in our own workshop in Osaka.
Within an environment shaped by 42 years of craftsmanship,
each piece is carefully handmade with the time it will be used in mind.

The Seigaiha pattern is a traditional Japanese motif inspired by gently repeating waves.
Its curved forms express continuity and calm,
revealing subtle changes as light shifts and distance changes.

Rather than drawing attention,
it adds a quiet rhythm to everyday gestures and movement.
Designed to accompany the wearer’s posture and presence,
it blends naturally into daily life with understated dignity.

Seigaiha Pattern and Nishijin-ori Expression

Nishijin-ori is a traditional textile from Kyoto,
known for its depth created through layered threads and woven shadows.

The Seigaiha motif makes use of these qualities,
expressing the rhythm of waves not through sharp outlines,
but through soft gradations and balance.

Its calm repetition allows it to adapt effortlessly
to both everyday use and more refined occasions.

Six-key hardware

The main compartment is equipped with six-key hardware,
providing sufficient capacity for daily use
while maintaining a clean and composed form.

Smart card pockets

Two card pockets are placed on either side of the key hardware.
In addition to functioning as a key case,
it can also be used like a pass case for transit cards.

As a piece of wearable craft

The Nagara Seigaiha key case is not designed to be the focal point of an outfit.

Instead, it brings harmony to the whole,
quietly reflecting the aesthetic sensibility of its owner.

it is made to grow more familiar with time and use.

An optional gift wrapping set is available.
The set includes a Tatsumi original gift box and pouch.
