Nagara – Authentic Oshima Tsumugi Key Case

A quiet presence, held in everyday moments

This key case is made exclusively from newly crafted Oshima Tsumugi,
prepared for contemporary use.
We do not use antique kimono or recycled fabrics.

Production takes place in our own workshop in Osaka.
Within an environment shaped by 42 years of craftsmanship,
each piece is carefully handmade with the time it will be used in mind.

Oshima Tsumugi is one of Japan’s most revered textiles,
known for its lightness, strength, and refined texture.
Its delicate patterns shift gently with light and distance,
creating a calm presence without drawing attention.

Rather than standing out,
it brings quiet balance to everyday gestures and movement.
It settles naturally into the rhythm of daily life,
accompanying the wearer with restraint and ease.

Oshima Tsumugi and the expression of weave

Oshima Tsumugi is characterized by its tightly woven structure
and subtle depth created through yarn-dyed threads and intricate patterning.

The design does not rely on sharp outlines.
Instead, the pattern emerges softly through texture and shadow,
allowing it to harmonize with both everyday and more considered occasions.

Six key hardware

The main compartment is equipped with six-key hardware,
offering practical capacity while maintaining a clean, composed form.

Smart card pockets

Two card pockets are placed on either side of the key hardware.
In addition to functioning as a key case,
it can also be used as a pass case for transit cards.

As a piece of wearable craft

The Nagara Oshima Tsumugi key case is not designed to be the focal point of an outfit.

Instead, it brings harmony to the whole,
quietly reflecting the aesthetic sensibility of its owner.

The set includes a Tatsumi original gift box and pouch.
