Nagara – Kuro-Kamon Pattern Nishijin-ori Key case

A key case where black and white find balance in quiet light

This key case is made exclusively from newly woven Nishijin-ori,
created for contemporary use.
We do not use antique obi or recycled fabrics.

Production takes place in our own workshop in Osaka.
Within an environment shaped by 42 years of craftsmanship,
each piece is carefully handmade with the time it will be used in mind.

The Kuro-Kamon pattern carries a strong contrast, yet never feels overpowering.
The shapes of black and white appear softly,
changing with light and distance to create a calm presence.

Rather than drawing attention,
it gently refines the wearer’s posture and movement.
Quiet in character, it blends naturally into everyday attire
while maintaining a sense of dignity.

Kuro-Kamon × Nishijin-ori expression

Nishijin-ori is a traditional textile from Kyoto,
known for the depth created by layered threads and woven shadows.

The Kuro-Kamon pattern makes use of these qualities,
expressing contrast not through sharp outlines,
but through subtle gradations of light and shade.

Six-key hardware

The main compartment is equipped with six-key hardware,
offering practical storage while maintaining a clean, composed form.

Smart card pockets

Two card pockets are placed on either side of the key hardware.
In addition to functioning as a key case,
it can also be used like a pass case for transit cards.

As a piece of wearable craft

The Nagara Kuro-Kamon key case is not designed to be the focal point of an outfit.

Instead, it brings harmony to the whole,
quietly reflecting the aesthetic sensibility of its owner.

As a piece of wearable craft,
it is made to grow more familiar with time and use.

An optional gift wrapping set is available.
The set includes a Tatsumi original gift box, and pouch.
