Brand new, made with newly woven Nishijin-ori. Not antique or vintage fabric.

This handbag is crafted using newly woven Nishijin-ori, a prestigious textile from Kyoto with a history of over a thousand years.
Production takes place in our Osaka workshop, where handbags have been made for over 42 years, with materials chosen to be used and lived with over time.
The Fuka-ori (Wind Flower Weave) pattern is defined by flow rather than contrast.
Floral forms appear as if carried by air, revealing themselves softly depending on light and distance.
Rather than standing out, the pattern settles into the overall styling.
It follows movement and posture, allowing elegance to emerge quietly.
Fuka-ori Pattern Nishijin-ori
