Brand new, made with newly woven Nishijin-ori. Not antique or vintage fabric.

A composed contrast, revealed in quiet light.

This handbag is crafted using newly woven Nishijin-ori, a prestigious textile from Kyoto with a history of over a thousand years.Production takes place in our Osaka workshop, where handbags have been made for over 42 years, with materials chosen to be used and lived with over time.

The Kuro-Kamon (Black Floral Medallion) pattern is defined by contrast held in balance.Black and white forms emerge gently through light and distance, creating a presence that feels calm rather than bold.

Rather than asserting itself, the pattern settles naturally into the overall styling.It supports posture and movement, allowing elegance to appear with restraint.

 

Kuro-Kamon Pattern Nishijin-ori

Nishijin-ori is known for its layered textures and depth created through weaving.The Kuro-Kamon motif expresses refinement through shadow and clarity, offering a quiet sophistication suited to both modern and traditional attire.
